H-1B transfer

HI
I am new to the forum. I am having question regarding the H-1B transfer. I currently work for Company A and I accepted the Company B offer. Now the company B filed my H-1B transfer last Friday. ( I haven’t notify my currently company A. I want to wait until I have Receipt Number)

I am just notified this morning that I got promoted with raise. It turns out the change makes everything better than the Company B. Therefore, I am thinking to stay at the current employer and tell the company B to withdraw my H-1B visa transfer. Would it cause any legal issue in the future?

Hi Zachary,

Congrats on getting a raise! As for your question, it won’t cause any legal issue in the future for your visa. You can ask the new employer B to withdraw your transfer petition and you can continue working for your current employer A.
