I am working in India and one company filed my H1B petition in April-2015.
I petition was selected in the lottery and I received the Receipt number form the company in June-2015 but after that no response from them.
Can I approach another employer with this receipt and ask them to continue processing my H1B?
Are you sure that, what ever the receipt number given by that employer is yours? Because these days we are hearing many cases that some of desi consultancies used to cheat many people.If you are confident that your petition was approved, may be you can approach other employer to transfer your H1B. When you consult the new employer, the attorney can suggest you better based on the information you provides.
