Going to apply H1B in April 2018.
Is it advisable to travel to US in B1/B2 visa for purely tourism purpose. on March 2018 ?
I am planning for a week travel, in the end of March month. will it affect my H1B process in any way ?
You will be flagged for what is called coincidental travel. If you declared in your B1 visa that the visit was purely tourism, it becomes a problem. It would not be a problem if you traveled for a conference and met your future sponsor there. USCIS objects to applicants “scoping the scene” on a B-1 before applying in another visa category.
