Does any one know if Forex Trading is allowed of non-immigrant visas like H1B and L1, and/or the corresponding dependant visas like L2 and H4? Also, if allowed, can H4 or L2 trade in forex without an EAD?
There are no restrictions for H4 EAD or L2 EAD.
Coming to H1B, you cannot do it like a day job, doing extensive Day trading or anything that is considered full time. If you are doing it as an investment on the side, you can, no restrictions. It does not differentiate between general stock trading vs Forex. Read below
