FNU name corrected,DS160 other names used?

Hello,

Previously I didnt have surname on passport, so they issued visa with FNU, later i changed my passport as split of name. I didnt update my visa as it is not required.

Now, as my name is correct everywhere. While i file ds 160 for H1b, it shows do u have other names?

Do i have to report the old name which doesnt have surname, as mine wasnt name change but split of name.

If i have to then, how do i enter the name in other names section as i cant leave surname blank

I dont think you need to report. If called for interview just explain if the CO raise this question.
