I am looking for a job and I called a company. As much hard it is to find a sponsorship, it is even harder to find it in my region. I checked the company’s info on myvisajobs.com and it says they have filed only 2 H1b cases in the last 10 years! Also, the recruiter said they will pay the 2K associated with H1b filing but I can choose to pay $1400 for a one year contract or let them pay the $1400 and sign a contract for two years. Does this sound shady or is it legitimate?
