Father dont have surname in his passport for visitor visa

Hi,

I am in US on L1 Visa and now I want to ask my father on visitor Visa but the probelm is that my father dont have his surname in his passport because he don’t have surname in his all certificates but in my passport my father name is with surname. would he be able to get visitor visa?

Example:

In My Passport:

My Name : Paras Goel , Father Name : Raj Kumar Goel

Father Passport :

Name : Raj Kumar , Father Name : Mohan Lal Goyal

1 more difference as Goel & Goyal in my and my father’s father surname and I have heard here that surname (last name ) is mandatory for visa stamping so my father would be able to get his visa?

Did it cause any issue for visitor B1/B2 visa if Father surname is missing in his passport but I have his name with surname in my passport?
