F1 COS from H4

USA F1, F2 Visas - CPT - OPT

Studying on H4 visa at Campbellsville university in IT & Management. Applied for COS to F1 in Apr. completed 1 sem and 2nd sem in progress.

But currently waiting time at vermont is 11-14 months. I may have to go to India for F1 visa stamping, but i will lose my COS. What is the probability that my Visa gets stamped if I travel to India for this university at this time?

Do i have any other options ? my plan is to take up OPT visa after the MS program.

Any one approved COS to F recently at vermont ? how long its taking actually ?

Is it ok to go for stamping to India for this university? Is it accredited ?

Also, COS is taking more than 10 months of time and that is true. I have been now waiting for 6 months for my COS.
