Got H-1B Stamped on year 2008 and the same got expired on year 2011. And I didn’t utilise the visa in this said time, due to personnel issues.
Below are the issued and expired details.
Visa issued on : 15-october-2008
Visa expired on : 25-september-2011
So my query is, “Am I eligible for the visa renewal process ??”
If so, please let me know the H-1B VISA RENEWAL process conditions
IMO, you are not cap-exempted as that deadline expired in 2014 (6 years from 2008).
Still, there are others who say that you are cap-exempted as you have until 2017 (6 years from 2011) for this.
Still, there are others who say that you are cap-exempted as USCIS approves anyone in similar situation and throws the 6 year rule out of the window.
