I am on L2 visa and want to apply for EAD now. My details
Visa expiry : Aug 2012
I94 expiry : June 2015
Same dates apply for my spouse(L1) as well.
If I apply for EAD now, will I get till Aug 2012 or till I94 expiry i.e. June 2015 ?
As per USCIS, “In most cases, EADs are granted for a 1 year period.”. I think you will get EAD for 1 year or till I-94 expiry.
VISA is a document that one needs to enter US and it is OK if your VISA expires during your stay.
