ds160 submitted,passport has issues,what needs to be done?

I submitted ds160.my comapny said there are no interview dates till february.

My passport has some small issue with my photo in that

what I cn do now?

1.can i go for new passport?

2.if i go will it affect my h1b visa because in ds160 i have given the current passport number?

Dear Baiju,

Ideally you should go for fresh passport immedietely

If passport has any issue , Consulate is likely to ask you to get fresh passport at the time of granting visa.

Filling fresh Ds 160 should be no problem after you get new passport.
