DS -160 PRESENT EMPLOYER AND PREVIOUS EMPLOYEMENT

Hi All,

Please help me in this regard as I am going for h1b interview in India within a week from now.

In DS-160 form we have 2 sections to fill in namely PRESENT / PREVIOUS employer

In my case last 6 months I had been for project disucssions to USA thru a company A on b1 who is liason with company B. Company B got me h1b and I returned back to india for stamping.

Now in my present employer section should I mention my new h1b sponsor ie company B or should I mention Company A

I am very much confused regarding this. Please help at the earliest

Your present employer is the company where you work currently. Your H1B petitioner is your future employer. In case you work for the offshore entity of your H1B employer, your present employer will be the offshore entity and not the H1B petitioner.
