Drop box booked for myself + my dependents. Do dependents need to come for dropbox appointment?

Hi,

I have booked a dropbox appointment for myself (for H1B) and my dependents (for H4).
Is it required for my dependents to accompany me for the drop box appointment
OR
The dependents are not required for dropbox appointment and I can just submit the documents on their behalf ?

You can carry dependent documents, they dont need to go personally.
