Drop box appointment with US citizen children, experience and time taken

Hi, I am going for a Delhi Drop box appointment in July 2021. I have a US citizen child so believing that I am exempt from the US Presidential Proclamation 10199. Wondering about the experiences. Please respond if you dealt with this VISA stamping Drop box situation in recent days.

  1. Anyone got their VISA stamped this way successfully?
    2.a. If yes, How much time it took to get the passport back?
    2.b. How did you submit the US Child Birth certificate and passport copies as proof

Yes, It was all good. I took my kid’s Birth certificate copy with me as well as his Passport Bio page. It was a quick 10 min job at the VAC window. Within 6 days I have got my passport back with my VISA stamped.
