Doing MS or any hopes for new immigration bill for H4

Hi Saurabh,

I’m on H4 and I had applied for H1b this year but was not selected in the lottery :(. So I thought to do MS here(that way I can work). But is there any hopes for new immigration bill so that H4 also can work because to do MS first I have to prepare for GRE & TOEFL also and MS is tidious and time taking process. I have 5 years of experience in SAP and want to work here also.

Please suggest me. Thank you in advance.

Do not rely entirely on the immigraiton bill. It still has a long way to go and the final version may be different from what it is today.

Start the MS as a back-up and if the immigration bill is passed allowing H-4 applicants to work, then you are all good. Yes, this may require more work, money and preparation.
