Does H1B visa can be rejected?

if i get approval in general quota H1B , and when i go for visa interview are there any chances of getting rejected by the visa officer ?

Last year Feb 2012 , i applied for a Business Visa which got rejected , will that effect my H1B visa ?

  1. If documents are not in line with USCIS guidelines and if they are not accurate then the VO can request USCIS to revoke the H1.

  2. Usually previous rejection of some other visa category does not impact the H1. But the VO might ask you about it and you need to answer truthfully to the best of your knowledge.
