Does H1B verification process checks Form-16 documents?

Hi,

My petition has been filled by my employer and waiting for lottery result, mean while I want to know does it required to pay all panding tax (if it is pending) before background verification process?

I have paid tax for this year but still got a mail from income tax department to clear some amount, I have asked them to verify at their end and its in process.

Can this create any RFE issue while going for background verification?

I don’t know if you are talking about taxes in US or in your home country. However, in general H-1 petition processing is not impacted by tax filing unless the latter results in a criminal case filed against you.
