Am currently working on H4 EAD in the US and my employer has initiated my L1A processing. Can someone please confirm if I can go to Canada or Mexico visa consulate for my stamping? Does these 2 countries take first time L1A stamping and conversion?
You cannot apply for stamping from L1 to H1B. Only Renewals are possible in Mexico. Read US Mexico Visa Website Official
Canada maybe possible, check with the US Embassy there.
