My current H1B visa expired, and am applying for L2 visa, based on my wife’s L1A visa, so my query is - Does applying for L2 visa while being in US require Biometrics process?
Yes, it will require Biometrics. The Biometrics is for anyone using form I-539. You will file for Change of status using I-539, so it applies to you. Read New I-539 form Biometrics - L2
