My employer asked me to send few documents today to answer an RFE on my case.
But if I see the status in USCIS website it says " Document was Mailed" What does this status mean?
“We mailed your document for your Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXX. If you do not receive your document by June 28, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.”
Is it regarding RFE or in other websites I read that this means a denial.
It looks like the status is reflecting mailing of original RFE document by USCIS to employer.The ‘has been mailed’ note can mean anything and does not indicate a negative outcome. It is just correspondence update. Hope this helps.
Hey could you clarify how your case progressed? Your status went from “Case received” to “Document was mailed?” So the “document was mailed” was referring to the RFE request the USCIS sent? How long after the status change did your employer receive the “document”?
