Docs to carry while travelling with operated plate in hand

hi guys

I am in US now. I met with an accident few days back and i broke my left arm elbow. I got it operated and i have a plate with 7 screws inside my left arm. Now I am planning to travel to India. In all the air ports there will be checking. Should I carry some documets with me as a proof that the plate inside my hand is for a medical reason? If so what all documents should I carry with me?

I don’t think there would be any problem. I think the metal they are using these days is not something used in any kind of weapons…

I still have plate and screws in my hand and I did international & local travelling, but I didn’t face any problem with metal detector in any airport and if you are having some kind of bandage, they will separately check that part after regular check.

But, you can always carry a document from doctor which says that you have plate and screws in your hand.
