I have H1B visa, but don’t have working contract with my petitioner. Do I have permission to enter and stay in USA, without work? My H1B vsia approved on 14 sep 2012. I like to know I will have any problem with my petitioner.
You need to have a job to enter US. you can not enter without a valid job offer in hand, at the port of entry one can be asked which employer, which city etc.
you can try to get another willing employer to transfer your h1 to them.
In addition, you always need to get paid as per the LCA when you are inside US on H-1. Your employer should be aware of your travel plans and ready to accept your employment in US w/ necessary salary.
