Currently I’m in Illinois but working for California based client, due to COVID-19 I not able to travel to California and I’m working remotely. California amendment and extension got approved for 3 yrs.
my Illinois DL is going to expire this month end. Can I renew Illinois license with new i797( petition is based of California). Will there be any complications in future as I’m supposed to be in California but working from Illinois ( because of Covid). Pls suggest what are the options to renew my DL
DL has nothing to do with your location of I-797. To get DL, they will ask you for the residential address proof. If you have IL address proof, you can use that I-797 approval and get it done.
