Difference between Client Invitation and Employment Verification letter

Hi,

As per earlier post for H1B interview(chennai) need to carry

Client Invitation letterEmployment Verification letter

I am having a Employment Verification letter and it explain about the client name and address,Duration of employment,project details, job roles.

I don’t have client invitation letter.

By Looking into sample client invitation letter and Employment Verification letter there is no difference between both.

is it ok to attend the H1B interview with out the Client Invitation Letter.

Employment verification letter is issued by your H-1 employer.

Client invitation letter will be issued by the client.

That’s the biggest difference. An employer can add client’s information in their letter w/o client’s knowledge but a client will issue the letter only when they really want you to work for them as a contractor.
