More clarification on question- attorney forwarded an email that has case no and not receipt no. Link takes you to icert portal and after inputting case no, it says received on June 12 and is in process . What does this mean? Am I within cap?
nope. he forwarded case number for the LCA application, which is a prerequisite for the petition, and which takes about 7 days for approval. it should have been obvious to your attorney that there is no way you could’ve made the cap at this late stage. in other words, there was no point in filing for LCA today. sorry
