Dependents travel during L1B to H1B COS

Im on L1B from last year in US, my family received their L2 visa few weeks ago. My H1B picked this year with same employer and COS it’s in progress. My family will travel to US by August this year. Will they face any questions in immigration as my Change of status from L1 to H1B is in progress. Because my change of status will affect their status also by October.

If my change of status approved in August before they arrive here will they face any issue with their entry.

If the change of status happens after they enter the US, they should be good however you will need to apply for their change of status too and make sure their COS application from L2 to H4 is filed and receivwd by the USCIS on or before the H1B start date.
