My current H1-B is expiring on September 27 and a renewal petition has been filed. My receipt date is June 11th from USCIS. Based on the posts I’ve been reading online, it seems like it might take between 2-6 months before I get my renewal petition approved.
Question:
In case, my new H1-B is not approved before my current H1-B expires, can I still continue to work as long as I have a receipt notice from USCIS?
