CPT after university transfer

Hello,

I have transferred from ‘X’ university to ‘Y’ university after my first semester i.e., Fall 2014…‘Y’ university offers CPT with requirement of “Must be in status at the time of the application and have been in lawful F-1 status for one full academic year (nine months) within a U.S. institution preceding the CPT application”. Do I am eligible to take CPT after Spring '15 or I should complete 9 months in ‘Y’ university and then take CPT???

Please help me in this regard

You need one academic year ( two semester or 9 months ) F1 status in USA and not in a particualr university. So, you will be eligible for CPT after Spring '15. You can read UCLA F1 CPT page for confiramtion from DSO
