changing to H1 after 4.5 years on L1

I am currently on L1B and my extension is applied. I will be completing 4 year 9 months on L1 by Oct.
I have submitted a fresh H1 in this years qouta by another employer.
Can you please let me know,

  1. My new H1 will be valid for what duration considering i have worked on L1 for 4 yr,9 months.
    2.Will I be able to file for GC on this new H1.

  2. Yes, it can be filed as long as you qualify for the offered position
