Change Employer with No Approved I140

Hi Team,

I have got my I140 approved and PD is Apr 2020 from my employer A, I changed my employer to say B, in 2022 and they haven’t initiated my PERM yet and hence I am looking for jobs outside with employer C.
If I say for example change job in a month or two, what will happen to my I140, i.e. will I be able to retain my PD once my new employer C starts PERM?

Your I-140 will remain valid to be used for AC21 H1B extensions beyond the 6 years H1B term. If and when employer C files I-140 for you, the attorney should be able to request PD retention so you keep your place in the decades long queue.
