My current employer had filed an H1B visa under cap exempt for me… My H1B renewal is due in Jan 2014 but, I am currently looking for new opportunities and was wondering if my potential employer could just do a H1B transfer even if the new employer does not qualify for cap exempt OR would that employer need to file a fresh H1B visa petition next year under the cap?
