I was able to schedule L1B +L2(spouse) interviews in May 2022. Recently I delivered a baby (mid April) whose passport I was able to get under tatkal . I have submitted her ds 160. Given the unavailability of slots. Is it ok if I request the consular officer to consider adding her as well during our interview ? Is there any email I’d to the embassy I can drop other than the generic provided in the cgi portal.
Child below 14 will qualify for dropbox however you can call VFS and get some guidance if appointment is possible.

The consular officer was very kind. He himself offered to include her in the same appointment. As I had already paid for the DS 160 and had the documents with me along with the photographs.

Did you pay the fee for the child beforehand or to the consular directly? I get that you got the DS160 filled and Photograph with you but want to know when you paid the fee for the child.
