Can we accept a promotion for same company, after I140 has been approved?

Hi - Can we accept promotion, from Sr Analyst to Manager, after I140 was approved for Sr.Analyst position. What would be the possible ways, also, if we already crossed 6 years limit, and current H1 is based on I140.
