Can OPT Extension I20 end date from DSO give us information on lottery?

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to know if the OPT extension I20 from the school would provide information about whether I am selected in the lottery. As my DSO is not giving me that information directly. Is this an indirect way to know as If I am selected as if selected the current authorization should extend upto Sep ,30 , 2013?

Please let me know your thoughts and comments.

If you want to go that route, then you need to know what’s there in your SEVIS record. AFAIK, only DSOs can tell you about your SEVIS record. Maybe you can try calling USCIS about your SEVIS record and know what’s there.
