Can L2 Child travel with H1 Mom before L1 Dad travels

Hi,

I have my H1 B and have travelled to US. My husband has L1 individual, but his company has not yet assigned him any project in US. Our 2.5 yr old daughter has L2 with my husband.

Is it possible for me to take her along with me while my husband sorts out his project allocation and travel?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In that case your daughter should get H-4 visa stamped and then travel with you. She should be eligible for interview waiver based on her age. She should not enter on L-2 along w/ you as the L-1 applicant is still in India.
