Can i work in L1 B Blanket Visa as my L1 & H1 is sponsered by same company

Hi.

Currently Iam on L1B Blanket Visa ( its expiration date is 21-Nov-2013) and and my company has filed H1B Visa conversion which will be effective from 1-Oct-2013 ( if it get approved by USCIS) My Question is that Can i work in L1 B Blanket Visa as my L1 & H1 is sponsered by same company. or there is any way that i can work on L1 Visa in october?

If H-1 gets approved w/ COS, then you need to work on H-1 from COS approval date. You can no longer work from that COS effective date.

If you plan to work on L-1, then either enter on stamped L-1 visa or leave US prior to Oct 1 and return on your L-1 visa after Oct 1.

One more question Right noq my H1b is filed in regular processing , so can i change it to consular processing ?

Actually, its regular processing vs premium processing; or COS vs consular processing.

Do you mean to say your petition was filed w/ COS and you want to change it to consular processing (i.e. remain on L-1 until L-1 expires).
