I was working for private company. I have visa from 2011-2014. My current visa from non profit organisation is valid through 2012-2015. I am looking for new job as current employer is not ready for green card process. Do I need to wait for H1B visa till next year as This year’s Quota is fulled.
You mean to say you have a cap-subject H-1 petition from a for-profit company, and a cap-exempt H-1 petition from a non-profit company?
If yes, then another employer can file a cap-exempt petition for you using the previously approved cap-subject petition. You don’t need to wait till April.
