Can I use old H1B petition for H1B exempt without approval notice..

Hi All,

I had my H1B petition approved on sep 2010 (Cap 2010) and was valid till sep’11.BUt I left my employer on april '11 and didnt collect any document from them as I didnt go for stamping.

Now my question is Can i use the old approved petition for H1B exempt without any approval notice document(I only have the approved petition no).

the receipt number should be fine along with the screenshot from the uscis case status website.
