My valid visa is till Mar1. I need to travel back on March28 (when in extension period). My company will file extension by 22nd feb 2013. Please suggest if my this travel impact my H1B extension decision and its related consequences.
Your extension will continue to be processed while you are out of the country. It may still get approved, but no I-94 will be attached to it and you will have to rely on I-94 you will receive while returning to US on H-1.
Also, when is your visa stamp expiring?
