Can I travel to India with valid H1B petition and visa: extension in progress

Hi ,

I am traveling to India on vacation for 3 weeks( end of may till mid june).

I have valid H1B petition till August 2014 and Visa till Oct 2015. However my client want to file my extension now. Is it safe to file an extension in timeframe I am in India?

Without extension also i think i have all the documents valid to enter US?Please confirm.

Apply the extension in Premium before u leave US…

AFAIK, U must be in US during extension. Talk to ur employer/attorney on this…
