My ViSA is getting expired on November 10th 2015 and i have filed an extension for the same , but the result has not yet come. Can i travel to India on 3rd November and return back to USA once the result has come and the extension process is completed.
Your 797 will continue to be processed, but I-94 extension will be abandoned.
You can travel to India, wait for approval to come through and then return to US using the new petition. You will be issued a new I-94 at PoE w/ the newly approved petition.
