Can I stay in USA after applying H1B visa from April 2013

I am on L1B visa with Company A that will expire in July 2013.But Some other employer B will file my H1B ( in L1B to H1B COS category)in April 2013 so I will be eligible to start work with Company B from 1October 2013.Now my question is:

Can I stay in USA only from July 2013 to Oct 2013.

If yes please advise me the legal ways…

No you cannot stay if your I-94 is expiring in July 2013. L-1 employer needs to file for L-1 extension, which will allow you to stay back. However, this will cause L-1 and H-1 to be processed in parallel and requires more discussion w/ an attorney to know all the consequences.
