Can i go to any consulate other than the one mentioned on I129 approval notice?

Hi,

This is regarding L1B individual petition i.e beneficiary mentioned as my name.
I received approved I129 from USCIS and it has consulate mentioned as CHENNAI, does it mean i need to go for a consular appointment only to CHENNAI ?
