I changed jobs and transferred my h1b. My offer letter start date is in Oct, but the petition has been approved and i797 start date has passed. Can i enter the US before my job start date then?
you can enter USA 10 days max before your anticipated start date with your employer. You may be in trouble if caught trying to enter before that.
Your offer letter start date doesn’t matter. H-1 797 start date matters and like ramman mentioned, you can enter at most 10 days prior to that date.
