Me and my wife are thinking to enter to the US 45 days before the start of a MS, I have read that it is advised to enter no more than 30 days before but it doesn’t say it is mandatory. Can they reject our entry? Thank you
You are right about 30 day’s period.
As per [http://www.ice.gov/sevis/students/](http://www.ice.gov/sevis/students/) "You have 30 days to enter the country before your official program start date, which is registered in SEVIS by an official at your school"
They may deny your entry.
