Can I enter into US with valid Visa and less than 90 of passport validity?

Hello All - I have general question about Port of entry. I am currently on valid H4 Visa with validity up to 5/8/2025. However, my current passport is expiring in 4/14/2024.

I am currently residing in TX, USA.

I am planning to travel to India in November 2023 and planning to be back to TX, USA in January 2024. My passport is expiring in the April 2024. After coming back to US in January 2024, I would like to apply for passport renewal.

Question: Is it okay to travel? or will there any issue at the port of entry as I will be having only 3 months (<90 days) of passport validity?

Can you please clarity?

The only downside with shorter validity passport is that the CBP will issue I-94 till the expiry of your passport. Which means you either apply for extension of status before the I-94 expiry or visit Mexico border and extend the I-94 once your passport is renewed but before your I-94 expires.
