Can I change from F-2 to H-1b during this time of the year (august 2013)?

Hello, I hope someone can give me any leads on this issue.
I started with H-1B in 2008, but right now I am F-2 holder. I am trying to get a company to sponsor me during this time of the year (August, 2013), but I’m not sure if is doable from the time perspective. Thanks in advance.

You can file h1 transfer anytime you want. you wont be subject to cap. As soon as COS is approved you can work.

Just find a sponsor in your feild of work

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it. So basically I can do it at “any time”? I will have an interview next week and is very likely that they are going to give me the job and the sponsorship.
