I currently work in Canada, Toronto . I-797 approval notice has been sent to chennai and my hometown is Chennai. But can I attend the interiew in Toronto, Canada since I am currently working and living here.
My attorney is not really sure about this . Can you help me out.
Please call the Canada embassy …I mean USA counslate in Canada and check with them … ALso drop a mail to PIMS system and check if its updated …I think then you can apply for stamping in your neared USA counslate …They may ask why are you coming here for stamping instead of chennai …you can answer that if you have valid reason …
BUT if PIMS is not updated , you will get 221 as they will not be able to find your information to connect to I797…
