can I apply for third OPT extension?

I am a F-1 VISA Masters student and currently I am on my second OPT. I got my first OPT for 1 year and then applied for extension and again I got extension for 12 months only but usually second OPT should be given for 17 months. Is there a way I could get the remaining 5 months OPT perioed which I lost.

Ideally, you should be able to get all the 17th months in your second extension. It is best to work with your DSO to get clarification on this.

What is the minimum gpa required out of 4 to be eligible to apply for opt? Which university did you study? Bridgeport? ?
