Can I apply for B1 and H1B same time?

I am currently In India. I got employment offer from US and they will apply for my H1B this April. Bitween my current company want to send me to US for a week on B1 visa. They will apply for the B1 Visa almost the same time ie March or April. Will it make any issues to my H1B processiong ? Is it allowed apply like this ?

Those two petitions are by two seperate sponsors(employees). Also both are non-immigrant petitions. So you are good to go…
